DYS ® Plus

Dyneema® Laminate
High modulus Dyneema® fibres form the backbone of DYS® Plus. The fibres are securely contained between two rugged woven Dyneema®/Polyester surfaces on both sides. Protective anti UV surface coatings and treatments ensure that sails made from DYS® Plus will maintain their pure white appearance over an extended period of time. DYS® Plus provides convincing overall performance combined with lasting value for money.

Vectran® Laminate
 DIMENSION-POLYANT’s VC styles take full advantage of the Vectran® fibre’s low stretch and high tenacity properties. Securely contained and covered by robust woven surfaces on both sides, Vectran® (or LCP, Liquid Crystal Polymer, as it is also called) will not distort under the loads experienced by large Superyacht sails. It will provide owners and crew with performance and longevity. Powerful UV protective coatings and additives ensure that sails made from VC styles remain reliable and good looking on a sustained basis.

GVTC

GraphX®Carbon/Vectran®Laminate
GraphX®Carbon/Vectran®(GVTC) combines Vectran® with high modulus carbon fibre ribbons. Utilizing DIMENSION-POLYANT’s patented INSERT® process in combination with the GraphX® carbon technology, GVTC offers improved stretch resistance and shape retention. DIMENSION-POLYANT’s GraphX® styles have proven their absolute reliability time and time again in yachts of all sizes. Protective UV surface coatings and treatments are a standard for GVTC styles. Owners and crews will benefit from lighter weight and ease of handling.

GXLD

GraphX® Carbon / Dyneema®-Laminate

The GXLD range presents to the Superyacht market the perfect performance sail fabric for panelled sail constructions. Melding the advantages of Dyneema®/Spectra® and GraphX® carbon fibre in one highly sophisticated fabric results in a very light, robust laminate with superior shape holding characteristics. Utilizing our patented X-PLY® and INSERT® processes in combination with DIMENSION-POLYANT’s proprietary carbon fibre technology, sails made from GXLD are very easy to handle and durable. The woven Dyneema®/Spectra® surfaces further strengthen and highlight these qualities. As with all other DIMENSION-POLYANT Superyacht fabrics and D4® membranes, GXLD is protected against harmful UV rays by advanced top coatings and additives.
