Maxi Catamaran ORANGE - Around-The-World record is broken!

ORANGE (formerly INNOVATION EXPLORER - runner-up at THE RACE) tried to break the record to sail around the world in less than 71 days using sailcloth from DIMENSION-POLYANT.

At this return to Brest on May 5th, 2002 ORANGE with skipper Bruno Peyron undercut the record by more than 7 days and crossing the finish line at a total of 64 days. The coveted trophy JULES VERNE was won.

ORANGE is a 35 m catamaran and had its complete set of sails made from DIMENSION- POLYANT’s SX Line and Aramid Scrims. We are proud having contributed to this success and like to extend our congratulation to the skipper and his crew.
