DCX cleenTEC^®

With the introduction of DCX cleenTEC^®, we are taking a big step in the consistent further development of our products towards better environmental compatibility – with the same performance. By using taffeta and films made from post-consumer recycled material from European production, we achieve a recycled content of 28-39%, depending on the specific style, in relation to the total weight. A new, discreet light grey makes DCX cleenTEC^® unmistakable and gives this 100% climate-neutral material its exclusive character. In addition, for every sail made of DCX cleenTEC^® you will receive our cleenTEC^® seal for placement on the sail tack.

DCX cleenTEC^® is an extremely durable material that is suitable for classic radial cut applications. It is based on a polyester scrim, or grid, embedded between two films, which in turn are smoothed and finished on both sides by a special taffeta fabric. The polyester internal scrim used is reinforced by an X-PLY^® and has excellent stretch resistance as well as high tear strength. Your sail will benefit from the significantly increased support in absorbing all forces that occur whilst cruising and hold its design profile throughout the life of the sail.
