With our Tyra Technology®, we split fibres into individual filaments and fix
them onto a unidirectional monofilament layer tape in a previously unattainable,homogeneous distribution. The product is our Tyra UD® Tape.
This innovative filament tape forms the basis of the new Tyra range.
Our world-leading production enables the processing of numerous fibre types
and combinations as well as the integration of various stabilising materials
such as scrims, veils and adhesives. The Tyra UD® tapes are laid on top of
each other at different angles to form the inner matrix structure of Tyra PLY®.
Here we focus on the requirements of the respective application areas and
produce different qualities from unidirectional and multiaxial.

The use of Tyra UD® ensures unique profile stability even at high wind speeds
and offers significant weight savings compared to conventional laminates or membranes at the same time.
