Our World-leading uni-directional monofilament tape production can handle many fibre options and combinations together with a multitude of stabilising materials such as scrim, veils and adhesives. Dimension-Polyant’s unique Tyra Technology®
There are two machines at the heart of our Tyra Technology. One that spreads the yarns into filaments and fixes them in a tape.
We offer this product under the name Tyra UD® tape in our Technical Fabrics section. In our a cross-ply machine these Tyra UD® monofilament-tapes are laid on top of each other at different angles and build the inner matrix structure of Tyra PLY®. Dimension-Polyant Lite Skin® is applied on top to increase abrasion resistance with a minimum of additional weight.
