Dimension-Polyant’s CARE fabrics have been increasing patient comfort and making life easier for nurses, hospital staff and staff for other care sectors for years by constructing the base material for transfer aids from rip-stop fabrics originally developed for high-performance spinnakers for sailing.

Applications
The CARE and CARE-X lines are made of Precision Nylon, Dimension-Polyant’s base fabric from the sailcloth range. The most important properties of Precision Nylon include its smooth surface and good tear resistance. This makes the lightweight rip-stop fabric ideal for further processing into transfer aids, tubes, slip-on-aids and quilts for use in hospitals and care.
Depending on the desired properties, the material can be coated with PU or Silicone on one or both sides. This allows additional high resistance and durability to be achieved. The high-quality material is Made in Germany and is manufactured in a climate-neutral plant. In addition, the CARE-X line has an Oeko-Tex certification and thus meets the highest standards for a pollutant-free product and sustainable textile production.
